Print a Free Danish Pocket-Sized Phrase Booklet

Print your own phrase guide with any printer.

(Laser printers won't bleed if you get the booklet wet on your travels. Inkjet printer ink bleeds when damp)

Each wallet-sized booklet prints on a single sheet of paper and requires only folding and one cut - no staples or glue.

Each booklet has about 100 words and phrases divided into four sections.

NOTE TO SELF: Main column width is wrong in CSS. Text feels small to me. Make animated GIFs larger and fix the internal placeholder text orientation

1. Select paper size:

US Letter sized Danish Phrase Guide (USA/Canada, 8.5x11 inch)*
DIN A4 sized Danish Phrase Guide (Europe/world, 210x297 mm)*

2. Print folding instructions or watch animation:

Print Folding Instructions for US Letter paper.

Print Folding Instructions for A4 paper.

3. Fold along the length, and then unfold. Crease all folds well.

4. Fold along the width.

5. Fold one side in half again. Flip the paper, then fold the other side in half again.

6. Cut along the lengthwise fold only to the quarter widths folds! DO NOT cut all the way!

7. Keeping the page in an upside-down T shape, fold along the length, letting the cut open.

8. When the page has formed a '+', when viewed from above, fold two sides to each side and flatten.

9. Go over the folds again. Then fold what is left in half and crease well again.

Done!

Just print, fold, and cut - then start using Danish on the go!
