**These adjectives change their endings based on the gender of the noun they are modifying. The examples given are for male nouns.
For female nouns:-ое/-ее
For male nouns:-ый
For neutral nouns:-ая/-яя

Turn left. (formal) Povernite nalevo. Повеpните налево.
