Brunch City
You know, wooden-floored, kinda beat up places to eat with great food, bad but casual service and lots of good veggies.
RADOST F/X, Prague, Czech Republic
The most incredible brunches (weekends only) anywhere at any price, and great food for other meals (all weeek) as welI: Radost FX Vegetarian restaurant, record store, art gallery and night club. Outside it's eastern block city store front and inside it's a funky, great atmosphere.
They have sofas and a galery in the back, and all of the furniture appears to be made by the restaurant. I have never been to Prague without eating at least one meal at Radost FX.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT, Covent Garden, London, UK
The food is incredible. A menu that changes daily with desserts and salads. To drink there is water with lemon on each table.
The place is small and at peak times, it can be difficult to find a place to sit. Although the staff seems nice, sho i suspect are the owners seem to always be half asleep or on valium.
Perhaps the sixties weren't too nice to them.

GILLIE's, Blacksburg, VA, USA
The first chilly-chill place i ever ate. It has changed a lot, but is still on the list. They have no more ice cream, but are still a great place to hang out and eat, despite how much they'd rather you focus on the eating than the hanging out.

WATERCOURSE FOODS, Denver, CO, USA
Whenever I'm in town, this is the first place I go. Hardly any of my friends are meatheads, so we all arrange to meet there.
This is the place for brunches or great vegetarian Breakfasts and Lunches. Right in the heart of 'cool' Denver.
DOT's, Boulder, CO, USA
Not vegetarian, but still a fun place for brunch. It looks like a former gas station, and am pretty sure that it is, so who knows what the water is like. Maybe you should order canned and bottled drinks only. Warning!! It's not there anymore. I was just in Boulder for the first time in many years. Dot's is not in the old gas station anymore, but they do have two new locations. I was only in town for the afternoon, so didn't get to check them out, but i have the feeling that i may be moving it off the favorites list. Check out the Mercury Cafe in Denver for a good alternative.
