Boulder has always been a problem for me. There is so much that I like about it, yet I don't really like the rich-boy, every-third-car-has-roof-racks, frat-boy-climber, money bullshit that i feel there. There are a lot of intellectuals and athletes, and some are both, i just haven't seen that side of it. The university seems to be great, and so many great companies are out of Boulder. There must be something going on there. Boulder, LA, Vegas, all exemplify "Love to visit, but i woulnd't want to live there."
Argueably the best video rental in Colorado is The Video Station at 1661 28th St., Boulder, CO 80301. 303.440.4448 and check them out at www.thevideostation.com. They have all the regular shit, but also a huge selection of foreign and independent stuff.
My good friend heather has an online zine that she is doing out of boulder. Check out interviews, reviews, writing, and comics at apogeemag.com. (The zine has nothing to do with boulder, she just lives there.)
